Festival Hill
The focal point at the end of an avenue of Indian Bean trees (Catalpa bungei) which leads through the Arboretum towards Jungle Island. The arboretum is home to a collection of specimen trees, selected for their botanical and visual interest. In spring the lawns are carpeted with swathes of daffodils.
Flags are generally fluttering in the breeze on top of the hill which is a focal point symbolising Springfields from the main Spalding bypass.
