Queen Mothers Tree
The ‘Queen Mother’s Tree’ – a Liriodendron tulipifera (Tulip Tree) was
planted by Her Royal Highness during her visit to the gardens in 1986.
Adjacent to this tree is a Quercus robur (Oak) which was planted by Her
Royal Highness the Princess Royal shortly after the gardens were
re-opened in 2004.
